A Good (re)Start

It’s been a few months of reflection for me.

After surgery I decided to stop everything and gain a different perspective on my life.

I stopped fb, IG, blogging, exercising and working.

It was challenging at first. I was in such a habit of being connected and being busy that slowing down didn’t come easy! I’ve really missed blogging,  and am pleased to be coming back to you … and I thought a good first post would be to share what I have first thing after waking up and getting up – a warm glass of water with ½ a lemon squeezed in. I usually have two of these a good 15 minutes before attempting breakfast. I’ve been amazingly fortunate this year to have been given bags of lemons by a Judith our neighbour and Helen a good friend – as our lemon tree after a huge season last year has a meager crop this year. So cheers to a good start to the day and a good (re) start to the blog 🙂

Its lovely to meet you Ali. I am sending you a hug.
I do a post on a Monday called Small Steps Up Mountains and wonder if you would mind me putting a link to your diary of a mole videos in next weeks post. I had a basal cell carcinoma removed from the bridge of my nose last October – not as serious as melanoma- but it did give me a shock.
